Note: There are at least 2 Michael Webers from Irsch. According to theMicrofilm of manuscript from Catholic church Irsch (Kr. Saarburg) -Marriage, the correct parents of Michael Weber (who is the father ofNicholaus Weber) were Mathias Weber and Mariae Wagener. This is incontrast to the posting by Joe Kees at Weber Surname web page - 4/14/00.According to him, the parents of Michael Weber were Jacobi Weber &Helena Schmitt. These are the parents for another Michael Weber, who wasborn November 16, 1811 in Irsch.


Magdalena Britten

Note: There are at least 2 Magdalena Brittens from Irsch. However,according to the microfilm of manuscript from Catholic church Irsch (Kr.Saarburg) - Marriage, the correct parents of Magdalena Britten wereMathias Britten and Mariae Hausen.

4. Mathias Weber

******** Important Note: On the marriage record of Mathias Weber, hisparents are listed as Mathiae Weber and Mariae Wagner ex Irsch. This isa slight difference from the spelling of Nicholaus Weber's grandmother -whose names is spelled Mariae Wagener. For now, I am assuming these arethe same.

The alternative is:
(1) there were 2 married couples living concurrently in Irsch
(2) with the husbands having the same name; i.e. Mathias Weber,
(3) and the wives having almost the same last name Wagner vsWagener.
